Our showpig camps provide the opportunity to learn everything from A to Z about showing pigs.
The camps will be hands on and focused on learning all of the aspects of daily care, feeding, show day preparation, and showmanship. Each exhibitor or family can bring their own pig (not required) so that we can work with them on how to specifically care for, feed, and show their current show pig project.

The camps are open to everyone and all ages!

Camp Testimonials

  • Thanks to both of you for all your help and advice given to the girls at the camps to help them excel in showmanship. They've come a long way in just 10 months. They still have a long way to go and lots more to learn, but owe y'all for what we have learned so far. Thanks again.

  • Carrie, I wanted to thank you and Kelton for all your work with Mikaela at the pig camp. I saw such a huge difference the past two weeks at San Antonio. Last week at the gilt show she was turned out of the pen and worked the other end of the ring and stayed off the other kids. When I asked her about that she said, "That's what Mr. Mason told me to do at camp." When the judge was doing his reasons in the Hamp class where she stood 3rd he exclaimed what a great job she did- kept her pig away from everyone else and showed every angle to me. He then said that he that maybe she should go over and help the boys (that placed above her) who couldn't seem to get theirs out of the corner - then - the whole stands applauded. I cannot tell you how great a feeling that was for her and her entire family watching ringside. To me, she had just "won" the class. I just wanted to share that with you and tell you both how much we appreciated all that you did- it DID make a difference.

  • I just wanted to let both of you know that the pig camp helped her tremendously, she showed at Channelview's jackpot show over the weekend and won 4th in the class and 1st in Showmanship. Everything y'all criticized her on she improved and hit the nail on the head. She watched the judge like she was taught to and had control of the pig. Thank you and I appreciate the time you took with her. The benefits of the camp really worked and paid off for her. Thought both of you would like to hear of her improvement.

  • I wanted to let you and Kelton know, this past weekend we went to the Diboll Belt Buckle Bash in Groveton and in the showmanship Mallory got second place out of about 30 kids while she pocketed $30. We were very proud of her and it was obvious the camp is paying dividends.

  • We wanted to let you and Kelton know how much we appreciated all that you did this past weekend for Eli. The camp was an amazing experience and we really enjoyed it. We would love to be able to participate in something like that again some day. It was more than worth the money spent on it. Thanks so very much (sounds so small compared to what you did for us).
