War Wagon is the individual we anticipated making when we decided to use Warfare on the best gilt we've bred to date. He was the fastest blooming baby out of a great litter of 12 pigs from which we sold 4 barrows at The Entourage Pig Sale and 5 barrows off the farm for an average of $2,640 when they were 6-7 weeks old. Most importantly, his appetite and consumption is like we all hope show barrows and gilts would have, and his fleshing ability is unparalleled. He combines the square build and extra stout features of Warfare, while having great rib shape. He's monster bodied, soft made, and as flexible as we've seen. We love this guy's hip design and bulky look, and all who have seen him comment on his huge bone, massive blade, and how much power he has from behind. We did not offer him to sell because we felt like he was invaluable in our herd as we sincerely believe he will produce highly saleable pigs that are as easy to feed and possesses the extras to be named the Champion!
